Tree Service Donation to Southampton Free Library

Giroud Tree’s donation of free tree service to Southampton Free Library in Southampton PA focused on tree health and safety.

In this video, Kim Ingram, Executive Director, Southampton Free Library joins Erik Rodgers, ISA Certified Arborist with Giroud Tree.  Erik explains how tree topping, a harmful and unacceptable pruning practice, had jeopardized the health of the trees at the Library.

Giroud crew members, Cesar Glemser, Will Cowley and Jim Shields, will use corrective pruning to selectively remove heavy sucker growth, cut ugly stubs back to lateral branches and improve the overall shape and health of the trees.
