Two Spotted Spider Mites attack a wide variety of deciduous trees and shrubs including Boxwood, Euonymus (Burning Bush) and Viburnum. Feeding on the underside of foliage enables the Two Spotted Mite to go undetected until it has caused serious damage to a plant. Leaves can appear yellowed, stippled, or mottled and can drop prematurely. Severely infested host plants usually have a fine cobweb appearance on the leaves, particularly on the underside of the leaf.

You can learn more about the problems affecting trees in the Philadelphia area by going to Giroud's Insect and Disease Control page.
